Kenwood's P Series component speakers present your music as it's meant to be heard — full of crisp acoustic detail and low-frequency depth. These lightweight, strong components offer a low-impedance design that draws more power from your in-dash receiver or outboard amplifier, giving you greater volume and impact. The KFC-P708 component speaker system features 6-3/4" woofers designed with a shallow profile, so they'll fit into more vehicles. Fiber-textured mica-impregnated polypropylene cones hit your bass notes hard, and the rubber surrounds taper in thickness from the basket to the cone, for more effective control over cone movement. The 1" soft dome tweeters radiate high frequencies effectively, so you'll hear the open, detailed sound that only separate tweeters can provide. You can flush- or surface-mount the tweeters in your car's factory tweeter openings or in any appropriate custom locations to get the best possible stereo image. The external crossovers offer 3-level tweeter attenuation that adjusts high-frequency output for the most natural sound.
